News about Aerosmith

Some news about Joe. Last moth Joe had an arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus and trashed ACL in his right knee. He had an injury like this 15 years ago during the permanent vakation tour. He re-injured his knee during the Just Push Play Tour last year.
The surgery went fine, and the tour plans (whitch are starting at 8/13/2002) don't have to be changed.
Some small things witch everyone probably already knows:
*Aerosmith has a song on the sountrack of the spiderman movie. It's the spiderman theme only changed to an Aerosmith song.
*Aerosmith became this years icon on MTV.
*Eminem used Dream On in a song for his new album. The song is called Sing For The Moment I think it's a really cool song once you get used to it :P
*(For the boys) The video for Girls Of Summer is full of sexy girls in bikinis.
*Aerosmith is starting another American tour in august.

Wow! time goes fast. sorry for not updating much :( I wish I had more time... more news now:
It's finished! The new Aerosmith album is comming. O Yeah! Ultimate Aerosmith Hits that is what it's called. The release date is 07/02/2002 there are two cd's and only two new songs, Girls Of Summer and Lay It Down. Girls Of Summer is their new single, I hope it is going to do great.

Aerosmith in Mauii.
Steven and Joe are now in mauii to have vacation and mainly to write new songs!!! they already wrote 3 songs, "Girls of Summer", "Climbing the Walls" and "Bad Enough". The last one is written for the "Spider-Man" movie. the other two are probably for the upcoming hits record.
An other nice thing I read is that Steven is seriously thinking of raising million so he can fly to the International Space Station, write a song there and perform it for a global audience. I think this is sooow cool, because it has been his dream for so long. It would be very cool if he can make his dream come true.
oh jah... don't forget! steven his 54th birthday tomorrow!!!

Steven is recovered!!! :-)
As I posted before, Steven had bronchitis because they used outdoor smokemachines inside. Together with being very tired it made Steven ill.
But he's better again! They already started the tour again. I sure hope this will never happen again.

As a lot Aerosmith fans probably know...Steven fell ill :-( Shows have been cancelled and rescheduled sinds October 27. Steven has bronchitis, and he still isn't better. One of the reasons he fell ill is probably that they used smoke machines indoor, which were made for outdoor use. There were some chemicals in the smoke witch old and young people shouldn't breathe for a long time. And old man Steven did. I read a couple of times that this is not the only reason but I don't know what other reason(s) there could be. I think that Steven was very tired becouse they did soooo many things last month. They had almost no days off because they had to do the shows witch were rescheduled because of sept. 11 on their free days, one day they even did two concerts at one night. They also recorded some Doge comercials last month. I think this was too much for the old guys. I don't know when Aerosmith is going back on the road again. people say a lot different things, from "they will start saturday" until "it is going to last weeks". I even read about the whole JPP tour being cancelled, but I don't beleve that. I read that there are dates scheduled through December 17.
Lets all hope steven will be better very soon.
